Assessment & Accountability
One key aspect of our educational philosophy is a robust and comprehensive assessment and accountability system that helps us measure student learning, track progress, and continuously improve our educational programs. Click here for more information.
Curriculum & Instruction
We provide standards-aligned curriculum that is designed to challenge and engage students at all grade levels. Our experienced curriculum specialists work closely with our teachers to ensure that our instructional materials are current, relevant, and aligned with the California State Standards. We also provide professional development opportunities for our teachers to enhance their instructional strategies.
Professional Learning Communities (PLC)
Our department is focused on developing PLCs at each campus. A PLC is a group of educators committed to working collaboratively in ongoing processes of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results for the students they serve.
Early Learning Programs
We are committed to providing English Learners with a culturally and linguistically relevant education as well as engaging educators in quality professional development so that they can better meet the educational needs of English Learner students.
English Learner Support
We recognize the importance of supporting students who are English learners. Our English Learner Services team provides specialized instruction, resources, and support to ensure that English learners have the opportunity to achieve academic success while developing proficiency in English.
Expanded Learning Opportunities (After School Programs)
“Expanded learning” means after school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences.
Family & Community Engagement
We believe that education is a collaborative effort that involves students, parents, teachers, and the community. We strive to build strong partnerships with parents and the community to support student success. We provide regular communication and engagement opportunities, such as parent workshops, community forums, and parent-teacher conferences, to foster a supportive and inclusive school culture.
Independent Study
Our independent study program is designed for students who may require a more flexible learning schedule due to medical, personal, or other circumstances. It allows students to complete their coursework at their own pace and on their own schedule, while still receiving guidance and support from our experienced teachers. Our independent study program is available to 4th-8th grade students.
Special Education
We are committed to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities through our comprehensive special education services. Our team of special education experts collaborates with teachers, parents, and students to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that provide appropriate accommodations and modifications to support student learning and success.
Student Support & Health Services
We provide a range of support services to address the diverse needs of our students. This includes counseling, mental health services, and intervention programs to promote student well-being, social-emotional development, and academic success.
